Back in 1992, the very first issue of MOVEMENT Magazine hit the streets with a local indie band on the cover, and many more would follow. More than three decades later, the Jacksonville underground is still alive and making noise, and there are too many great artists coming out of the 904 right now to ignore, so we decided to dedicate an entire issue to them.

Movement's Locals Only feature is a Warhol-inspired shtick called “Famous For 15 Questions,” where each band is presented the same set of questions, and no matter who answered them, the results were always different: funny, strange, honest, sarcastic, thoughtful, and occasionally completely unhinged. Exactly how local music should be.
